In general after you installed venice and you play the campaign or the original you see what venice adds if you play a normal game. no new complete campaign but it does add 3 times as many scenarios from the original small volcanic islands with interesting mining system more ornements including the venetian palace with expansions, npc,s will build these as well. option of buying islands from other players (not immidiant, you see it comming, option to turn this off) sabotaging and counter espionage with other players (option to turn it off) more ornementals/coat of arms/colours etc wich can be unlocked using gems more scenarios wich allows you to collect more gems and the scnarios are quite fun With an offline profile you will also never be able to play multiplayer. Since all of these things are an enrichment for the game i still say go for venice, the price won't stop you either.Īs a tip: make an online profile asap becouse if you ever play on another pc all your progress is lost, with an online profile not. If you play venice you can't play wihout the add-ons of venice that would be the only downside of it. The original campaign is unlike shona wich explained further correct also playable after you installed venice. Anno 1404 is until now (before 1800) the best anno game ever made in the series.
